Amanda Bolen
MA LGPC ATG

amanda@swanexpressivetherapies.com

I work with children adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a variety of life issues. My framework for therapy is that healing and growth happen in connection and relationship with others. You can expect to build an authentic and therapeutic relationship with me as we explore together areas of concern in your life.   I utilize the creative process to aid therapy. For children art is a natural means of communication and connection. For adolescents and adults, sometimes words are not enough to express what is being experienced.  No artistic skill is needed because there is no right or wrong way to express yourself. You can use art materials spontaneously or you may be given a specific instruction. Reflecting on and talking through what you have created may help provide you with some insights to your situation.
